Once you have registered via the website, our assistant will contact you by phone to schedule an intake interview and, if desired, an early ultrasound scan around 7-8 weeks of pregnancy.

The early ultrasound takes place around 7-8 weeks of pregnancy. This can be done at your own request, or if there is a medical indication such as blood loss or a previous miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy.

During the intake interview, you and your partner will meet one of the midwives from our team. During the intake interview, we will talk about your medical history, health in the family and the importance of good nutrition during pregnancy. In addition, we discuss the possibility of prenatal testing during the intake interview.

The term ultrasound takes place between 10-11 weeks of pregnancy and is intended to determine how far along you are in the pregnancy and thus determine a due date. This ultrasound is reimbursed

If desired, you can opt for a NIPT test (Non-Invasive Prenatal Test) from 10 weeks of pregnancy. A blood test is used to check whether there are indications of Down, Edwards and Patau syndrome. This test has no risk to pregnancy.

You can have the 13-week ultrasound performed between 12.3 and 14.3 weeks. This is a new prenatal screening ultrasound that can detect any physical abnormalities at an earlier stage.

After the term ultrasound, if you have opted for this, the group meetings will start. During these group meetings we can give more time and attention than with the (individual) traditional consultations. With every session you also get a 1-on-1 moment with the midwife (for example, measuring blood pressure and examining your abdomen). You will meet about 10 times with the other pregnant women

The 20-week ultrasound is a screening ultrasound that examines visible physical abnormalities in your baby. You choose whether you want this research. If you want, you can also find out the gender with this ultrasound. The 20-week ultrasound is included in the basic package and is therefore reimbursed by your health insurer.

You can have a fun ultrasound with us around 15 weeks of pregnancy and around 27-30 weeks of pregnancy. At 27-30 weeks this is also possible in 3D/4D. During this fun ultrasound we take photos and moving images (in 3D) of your child.

During this ultrasound we check whether the baby is lying head down or with the buttocks down. This ultrasound is reimbursed by the health insurer

When all babies from the group have been born, the last and closing session will take place with your Centering pregnancy mother group. You can share your experiences and admire each other’s babies. A private check-up is of course always possible with us.

In our practice we also offer the option to place an IUD 10-12 weeks after childbirth.
