1Positive Test

Once you have registered via the website, our assistant will contact you by phone to schedule an intake interview and, if desired, an early ultrasound scan around 7-8 weeks of pregnancy.

2Early ultrasound (7/8 weeks)

The early ultrasound takes place around 7-8 weeks of pregnancy. This can be done at your own request, or if there is a medical indication such as blood loss or a previous miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy.

3Intake interview (8 weeks)

During the intake interview, you and your partner will meet one of the midwives from our team. During the intake interview, we will talk about your medical history, health in the family and the importance of good nutrition during pregnancy. In addition, we discuss the possibility of prenatal testing during the intake interview.

4Term ultrasound (10/11 weeks)

The term ultrasound takes place between 10-11 weeks of pregnancy and is intended to determine how far along you are in the pregnancy and thus determine a due date. This ultrasound is reimbursed

5NIPT

If desired, you can opt for a NIPT test (Non-Invasive Prenatal Test) from 10 weeks of pregnancy. A blood test is used to check whether there are indications of Down, Edwards and Patau syndrome. This test has no risk to pregnancy.

6The 13 week ultrasound

You can have the 13-week ultrasound performed between 12.3 and 14.3 weeks. This is a new prenatal screening ultrasound that can detect any physical abnormalities at an earlier stage.

7Start Centering Pregnancy (between 12-17 weeks)

After the term ultrasound, if you have opted for this, the group meetings will start. During these group meetings we can give more time and attention than with the (individual) traditional consultations. With every session you also get a 1-on-1 moment with the midwife (for example, measuring blood pressure and examining your abdomen). You will meet about 10 times with the other pregnant women

8From 20-week echo (SEO)

The 20-week ultrasound is a screening ultrasound that examines visible physical abnormalities in your baby. You choose whether you want this research. If you want, you can also find out the gender with this ultrasound. The 20-week ultrasound is included in the basic package and is therefore reimbursed by your health insurer.

9Optional: fun ultrasound

You can have a fun ultrasound with us around 15 weeks of pregnancy and around 27-30 weeks of pregnancy. At 27-30 weeks this is also possible in 3D/4D. During this fun ultrasound we take photos and moving images (in 3D) of your child.

10Position ultrasound (34-36 weeks)

During this ultrasound we check whether the baby is lying head down or with the buttocks down. This ultrasound is reimbursed by the health insurer

11Return day Centering Pregnancy

When all babies from the group have been born, the last and closing session will take place with your Centering pregnancy mother group. You can share your experiences and admire each other’s babies. A private check-up is of course always possible with us.

12Birth control

In our practice we also offer the option to place an IUD 10-12 weeks after childbirth.

We are a small and close-knit team, which means we can offer you optimal personal attention and care. Together we look at your wishes and how we can best provide your guidance. We offer all obstetric care under one roof: check-ups, ultrasounds, blood tests (including NIPT!), it can all be done at the practice. We also provide pregnancy courses and have a coach, dietician and physiotherapist

  Ik kan niks anders zeggen, maar ik heb echt een mega goede begeleiding gehad bij deze verloskundige praktijk. Ze zijn heel persoonlijk, lief en betrokken bij je. Ik zou iedereen aanraden die zwanger is om bij deze praktijk zich aan te melden! Ze denken met je mee in elke situatie en ook aan dingen waar je zelf niet bij stil staat.   Tijdens mijn beide zwangerschappen ben ik zo ongelofelijk fijn, betrokken en persoonlijk begeleid door de verloskundigen van praktijk onder de Linde. De verloskundigen namen altijd ruim de tijd voor onze afspraken, waardoor ik mij altijd gezien en gehoord heb gevoeld. Tussen de controles door was er bovendien genoeg ruimte om gezellig bij te kletsen en een vertrouwelijke band met elkaar op te bouwen.

  The ladies at Onder de Linde are warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. We felt so looked after through what was a slightly complicated pregnancy and difficult labour. No question asked was a silly one and the WhatsApp service for your 11oclock at night worries were answered so quickly! Bringing my beautiful baby boy into the practice today for our 6 week sign off was bitter sweet as I will miss the ladies and their genuine love and care! Thank You 😘

  Een ontzettend fijne praktijk met de meest lieve en kundige verloskundigen. Vanaf moment één voel je je ontzettend welkom en is er alle ruimte voor jouw ervaringen en wensen.   Zo blij met deze meiden, gepassioneerd, vakkundig en vooral met liefde staan ze je met raad en daad bij in de misschien wel meest onzekere tijd van je leven. Zij bieden ook Centering Pregnancy aan, een begeleidingsvorm die aansluit bij de gedachte ‘it takes a village to raise a child’. Voor mij [in verwachting van mijn tweede kind] een manier om waardevolle informatie, kennis en ervaringen te delen met andere zwangere vrouwen en gelijkgestemden te ontmoeten. 🫶🏼

  Wat een fijne praktijk, maar vooral wat een lieve dames allemaal! Super lief, behulpzaam en ze luisteren echt goed naar jouw wensen. Ook namen ze echt ruim de tijd voor de ingeplande afspraken. Bij beide zwangerschappen hebben ze mij begeleid en ik was echt heel blij met ze. Een aanrader voor iedereen als de praktijk een beetje in de buurt zit.
