Who are we

Marieke is a familiar face in Haarlem. As a true Haarlem native, Marieke knows the city
and the area like no other.

Marieke is known for her desire to provide the best care and to spend all her time on
your wishes. Her background as a lactation consultant ensures that you can contact her with all your
questions about breastfeeding and bottle feeding.

Marieke is the proud mother of 1 daughter and 2 sons and lives with her husband on
their houseboat in Haarlem’s water.

Stephanie has been a midwife with great pleasure since July 2011. She has lived in this area since April 2017, after living and working in Amsterdam for a long time.
Stephanie thinks the best thing about midwifery is the bond you build with the pregnant woman and her partner and that you can guide and experience such a special and unique event up close. Stephanie lives with her husband in Zandvoort and is the mother of 3 children, 2 sons and a daughter; Maes, Fabe and Kate.

Cato has been a midwife since 2023. Cato has been fascinated by pregnant bellies and babies for as long as she can remember and it was her dream to become a midwife. She now returns to the street where she was once born to work as a midwife. She finds it special every time to guide parents and to see how parents are born in addition to a new life. She believes it is important that you, as expectant parents, feel seen and heard.
Cato likes sailing, museums or eating out. She also enjoys sitting on the couch with a good book.

Hester has been a practice assistant in our practice since May 2022 and has worked in healthcare for some time before that. She has lived happily in Heemstede with her husband and three children for a number of years and is someone who likes to take good care of others and enjoys organizing. As a practice assistant in practice, she enjoys putting people at ease and making them happy. She is very much looking forward to being ready for you in the coming fun and special period. Ayinda is 25 years old, has been a midwife since 2024 and has lived in Haarlem all her life. She always knew that she wanted to work in healthcare in the future, but has now really found her place in obstetrics. She believes it is important to provide personal and appropriate care and to build a bond with clients. In her spare time she likes to go out with friends, sit on the couch with a good book or go to the gym.

Iris has been a practice assistant since 2025. Iris is married and mother of 2 children and almost a grandmother. Iris comes from Haarlem and loves good food, walking, traveling, and she likes to do this with her husband and dog Lily. Iris has always worked in healthcare and started as a maternity nurse. People around Iris describe her as spontaneous, social and caring.
